Ok, so I'll be the first to introduce my family. This past year my wife Linda and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. We have two beautiful daughters, Mary and Amy. Mary is 18 and Amy is 13. We also have a dog named Lincoln and a cat named Dusty. Lincoln is a fishing dog and is trying to outfish all you avid fishermen. He certainly puts in the time but to date does not pose a threat to the fish population.

We built our log cabin on the northeast side of the lake in 2002. We enjoy all watersports including swimming, fishing, canoeing, waverunning, boating, skiing and tubing. I am also a licensed scuba diver.

During my working hours I own and operate, along with my cousin, O'Connor Petroleum Co., Inc. We are a small gas station/convenience store chain based in the Waukesha area. We are currently opening new stores under the name Jetz Convenience Centers (www.e-jetz.com). Prior to purchasing the company I was a pilot for Continental Airlines.

The family and I enjoy visitors so please feel free to stop and meet us.

Tom Doyle Lake "A Wisconsin Northwoods Jewel"

Hello to all our friends on Tom Doyle Lake! I have created this blog as a means of sharing with each other the special times we all share "Up North". How blessed we are to enjoy the cry of the loon, the flight of the eagle or the crisp, pine scented air on such a beautiful lake.

We need pictures! Please search your photo albums and if you find an interesting photo, share it. Of particular interest would be old photos showing the history of the lake, wildlife photos (not your neighbor) or action shots showing how your family enjoys the lake. Submit a picture of your family next to your cabin so we can learn who you are. Tell us about yourself.

In addition to photos, this blog offers the ability to post comments. Perhaps this might be a good place to express your feelings regarding lake usage. Please remember to be respectful of others as we all have differing opinions regarding this issue.

I hope this blog will become a frequently visited site. We'll see you at the lake!
